Synchronous Multiplayer Modes

Synchronous Multiplayer Modes are modes in which players play the matches with each other at the same time (in contrast to asynchronous modes, where they compete but takes turns to score more points or be placed higher on the leaderboard). The synchronous dungeons are also Access-Limited.

Synchronous PvP Mode

Players compete against each other in 1v1 duels. Winning a duel results in climbing to the challenged player's ladder spot while they are pushed down instead. Like in any other "power check" modes, access to this mode is limited in order not to overwhelm players. Successful duels provide minor rewards, while more valuable rewards are based on rankings (given or a regular basis, e.g., once a day).

Synchronous Team PvP Mode

Players compete in (2 vs 2, 4 vs 4 etc.) matches. Winning a match result in climbing to the ladder. Co-op matches may be more complex than in case of duels, e.g., utilizing basic MOBA-like systems. Like in any other "power check" modes, access to this mode is limited in order not to overwhelm players. Successful duels provide minor rewards, while more valuable rewards are based on rankings (given or a regular basis, e.g., once a day).

Synchronous Co-op

Players co-operate in a shared challenge, either against an overwhelming horde of monsters or a boss (team boss challenge). Successful matches provide minor rewards based on the final result and each player's performance. Like in other modes, rewards or tickets are limited on a daily basis, with specific design depending on the actual design of the mode.
